500 units of agricultural machinery had been proveing effectiveness in field conditions - Clash of the Agrotitans 2019

On September 5-6, the largest field demonstration of agricultural machinery in the field Clash of the Agrotitans was organised for the seventh time by Ukrainian Agri Council, DYKUN company and the group of companies "TAK" in the Tetiiv region.

In two days, more than 3000 participants from all over Ukraine had viewed 150 units of machinery in operation. Another 350 were presented within the exhibition area, where 87 partner companies presented their achievements. The demonstration was conducted on 60 hectares of field on three agrofones of different complexity. Seven thematic zones were shown in the work: plows, harrows, seed drills, rotational harrows, rotary cultivator, rollers, sprayers, spreaders, grain hoppers, combines, harvesters and grain trucks.

Visitors could find special lending conditions from financial partners, state-of-the-art developments for the introduction of systems of precision farming, innovative plant nutrition methods and the latest hybrids of sunflowers and corn of Ukrainian and foreign breeding. Car partners conducted a hellish test-drive and showcased flagships favourite for agrarian players.

Continuing the tradition of the last year, a two-day auction of used machinery was held, where anyone could look for more budget models and participate in the auction. The novelty of this season at Clash of the Agrotitans was zone of early stairs, where participants were able to evaluate the results of the operation of seed drills, as well as a vertical slice of the soil, which showed how well the machinery was operated at the demonstration zones.

“Despite the difficult times we live in and stunning changes we are experiencing in the country, when it is not accepted to talk about investments and new equipment, we have people who think about the future and how to grow their business. I thank all those who came today, and all Ukraine gathered here. We have already registrated 2500 farmers and this is only the beginning, the first day of the exhibition. 5 years ago, we couldn't imagine Tetiiv becoming a true agrarian technical center and look at how many people we unite today. Thank you all!", - said Andrii Dykun, chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council, during a welcome speech on September 5.

Commercial manager of KUHN Ukraine Dmytro Dovzhenko also joined in the congratulations. He noted that every year this event is becoming more professional as it attracts more visitors and companies who are ready to demonstrate not only the machinery, but the real technologies: “We have been cooperating for the fifth year with DYKUN company and together we organise the event Clash of the Agrotitans. Now is just the end of the season, this is a good time when the soil allows to show you how to operate with different agricultural units. And also, this is a great time for all manufacturers to show their machinery, because in Ukraine there are a lot of exhibitions where machinery is standing in the pavilions, good, but no one understands how it works, and here you can see all its possibilities".

The importance of such events was also emphasized by Yaroslav Parii, founder of the All-Ukrainian scientific institute of breeding, who has been participating in Clash of the Agrotitans for the second time: "We believe that this is an important agricultural event in our country, probably one of the best, because there are many interested visitors here. We can present to our farmer the information about our best products, which are competitive and easy to withstand any competition with any foreign company".

For two days, the entertainment program was provided by the band "Atmosfera" and folk art band from Khmelnytskyi. The real treats took place at the stand of the company "TAK" , which was celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, - Mrs. Solokha treated everyone with fragrant herbal teas, and after dinner everyone had the opportunity to participate in the Pumpkin Fest.

What amazes me is that it is increasing year by year, and the amount of machinery, and especially its quality and technological capabilities are increasing. I can compare that much more modern, more powerful machinery from various manufacturers were this year at the event. Today a wide assortment of combines, soil tillage machinery, as well as sowing units has been presented. I'm glad to see it's all in operations. This is a great opportunity to evaluate at the same time so many machinery units that is not just standing to get acquainted, but really works, shows its true capabilities. This is useful for both specialists and managers”, commented Oleksandr Timokha, general director of Lanna Agro.
